Enjoy Bluffs & Brews with Goodhue County History Center
Bluffs & Brews will hike through Frontenac State Park from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, June 17. Learn how the park was created as well as why it is a bird-watchers paradise. A social hour will follow at Port 104 in Lake City.
Bluffs & Brews is a collaborative program between Red Wing Environmental Learning Center and the Goodhue County Historical Society that began in 2015.
The group explores a local history topic through a question-and-answer session, then heads outside to a local area that represents the historical topic discussed. Following the adventure, the group convenes at a local restaurant to reflect on the experience and for an opportunity to win door prizes.
This month, transportation will be provided from a designed parking location to Frontenac State Park and back. Ticket holders will need to provide their own transportation to the parking location and social hour.
The event is $10 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Tickets can be purchaes by calling the Goodhue County History Center at 651-388-6024. Space is limited.
