Call for auditions
Auditions for the Phoenix Theatre's production of "Jospeh and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday May 20 and Thursday May 23 at the Sheldon Theatre. Come with a prepared song, one minute or less.
Casters are looking for children in third grade and up, teen and also adults. The performance dates are July 11-13 and July 19-21.

Sytende Mai bake sale coming
Sons of Norway Lodge No. 558 will hold a Syttende Mai bake sale featuring many Scandinavian foods starting at 8 a.m. Saturday May 18 at United Lutheran Church, Fifth and Dakota streets.
A parade beginning at 9 a.m. at the Depot will be followed by Gustjeneste and Kaffetiden at United Lutheran.
Money raised goes to scholarships.

Computer Class - iPad
Learn the capabilities of your iPad at 1 p.m. Tuesday May 21. Instructors Tom and Judy Walsh will lead you through the most used applications and more. Cost is $10 for members, $12 for nonmembers. Call the Senior Center to sign up.
Help is needed to provide 24-hour security at the Field of Honor starting Friday May 24 to Sunday May 26. Each shift is two hours in length. If you or anyone you know would be interested in helping out, call Robin Wipperling at 651-385-3456.
Here is your opportunity to learn, practice and improve your Spanish skills. Lavoie House teaches the Spanish conversation group at 10:30 a.m. Mondays and Fridays. The group meets on a regular basis in a casual setting.
The Red Wing Senior Center Choir, the Silver Tones, practices at 1 p.m. every Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, 615 W. Fifth St. Director is Coleen Fowler.
Trips, Travels and Tours goes to St. Paul
Travel to the Minnesota History Center Tuesday June 11 to explore exhibits about Minnesota's role in the Civil War. Cost is for $32 members, $37 for nonmembers. Payment and registration are due Tuesday May 28.

Eye glass adjustments will be given from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday May 21 by Pearle Vision.
NAPS: Nutrition Assistance Program for Seniors will be available 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday May 21. Women and men 60 years of age or older, who live in Minnesota and meet income guidelines, may be eligible to receive a monthly food package. For more information, contact Channel One Food Bank. Resources and Referrals will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday May 22. Jane Whiteside, Ph.D., can help you sort through problems and explore possible resources. This is a free and confidential service.
Foot care clinic will be available Thursdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m. with a home health nurse. To schedule an appointment, call Red Wing Homecare and Hospice at 651-385-3410. The cost is $34.
Medical equipment available
Gently used medical equipment is available at the Senior Center to use for up to three months during a period of medical convalescence or short-term disability.
Items include wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, shower chairs, commodes and more. If you need something, visit or call the center. A $20 donation is requested to help with the ongoing program costs.
Jordan Towers are located in the 400 block of West Fifth Street in downtown Red Wing. All events listed are held at Jordan Tower I or II unless otherwise noted.
Help out making cards
The craft group meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays to make recycled greeting cards. Donations of old greeting cards and volunteers to assemble them are welcomed. Recycled cards are for sale from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every day at the Jordan Tower II Sailstad Room.
Diabetes group meets
The monthly diabetes support group will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday May 21 in the café at Jordan Towers. The service is offered by St. Brigid's Hi-Park volunteers.
