Prescott teen hurt after car hits Hwy. 35 guardrail
A Prescott teenager was airlifted from Hwy. 35, about six miles south of Prescott late Sunday evening after his car struck a guardrail and the resulting damage trapped him inside.
Michael A. Borash, 18, was transported by LifeLink helicopter to Regions Hospital in St. Paul for treatment of injuries. Initial reports from the scene about 10 p.m. indicated he suffered facial lacerations but was conscious.
A spokesperson said Tuesday that he was in good condition.
The crash occured north of CTH E, near the intersections of Hwy. 35 and 1050th.
The road was closed for about an hour as Prescott fire and ambulance crews assisted Pierce County deputies at the scene, according to a press release.
Deputy Chad Koranda said the crash remains under investigation.
