Croixaliers sing at two services at St. John’s
The Croixaliers is an award-winning choir of high school students — chosen through auditions — from St. Croix Lutheran High School in West St. Paul.
Interfaith group helps others
Faith in Action in Red Wing is an interfaith volunteer program serving seniors and those in distressed circumstances. The organization’s goal is to help individuals in the community remain independent.
All services are provided by caring volunteers, with no charge to the recipient. Services include local transportation, out-of-town transportation for medical purposes, friendly visiting, library books, respite care and caregiver support group.

Churches collect items for food shelves
Several local congregations gather specific food items each month to help stock the food shelves.
The January food focus is pasta and pasta sauce at the Church of St. Joseph. People may place donations on the table in the entryway. Food shelves also need peanut butter and boxed meals.
Auction to benefit youth
United Lutheran Church youth group will hold a silent auction from 8 to 10:45 a.m. Sunday Jan. 25 in the Fellowship Hall. Money raised will help teens attend to the ELCA Youth Gathering planned for July in Detroit.
Community Supper will be served
The Community Meal/Sunday Supper will be served at 5 p.m. Sunday Jan. 25 at First United Methodist Church, 403 East Ave.
Members of United Lutheran Church will provide the meal, which is free of charge and open to everyone.
Local congregations and organizations take turns preparing the food.
St. Paul’s will meet
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Red Wing will hold its annual meeting for the congregation at 10:30 a.m. Sunday Jan. 25.
Pizzas for sale
Youth at St. John’s Lutheran Church are selling custom-made pizzas that will be available to pick up on Super Bowl Sunday.
