HOPE Coalition and Kids Count to hold vigil

HOPE Coalition will hold a candlelight vigil at the end of April to raise awareness for child abuse prevention.

April is Child Abuse Prevention month and Kids Count program (for children up to age 18 who have witnessed or experienced abuse or violence) will have its annual candlelight vigil at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday April 30 in the conference room at the Mayo Clinic Red Wing Professional and Community Center, 1407 W. Fourth St.

Fusion Dance will perform, two child abuse victims will tell their stories and Kids Count participants will perform songs, read poetry as well as other pieces.
