Spotlight: Shepherd's Center of the Cannon Valley
The legendary Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers are coming to Cannon Falls for a special concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24. The show will be in the Cannon Falls High School auditorium with all proceeds going to Shepherd's Center of the Cannon Valley.
The Gatlin Brothers have scored more than a dozen top-40 hits, including the 1979 single of the year, "All the Gold in California!" Other top hits include "Broken Lady," "I Don't Want To Cry," "Houston," "Statues Without Hearts," "Love is Just a Game" and "Night Time Magic."
Shepherd Center Executive Director Rod Johnson is hopeful of a sellout.
"Our auditorium is state-of-the-art and just a wonderful venue to watch a concert," Johnson said. "What amazes me is that after singing together for so many years, the Gatlin Brothers are singing and playing better than ever."
The auditorium just over 600 people and all tickets are general admission. Doors will open 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24.
Tickets are $50 and available online at www.gatlinbrothers.eventbrite.com and in Cannon Falls at Family Fare's Pharmacy, Cannon Valley Specialties and Shepherd's Center.
