Steve Miller Band with Peter Frampton to perform at Treasure Island

Amazing rock 'n' roll artists from the '70s and '80s, Steve Miller Band and Peter Frampton will electrify the outdoor concert stage Sunday, July 23, at The Island.

Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer, Steve Miller, started his career by absorbing valuable music lessons from his jazz aficionado parents and Les Paul, his godfather, which shaped his successful career.

Miller will delve into his extensive catalogue of hits from the '60s, '70s and '80s to bring such favorite as: "Livin' in the USA," "Take the Money and Run," "Fly Like an Eagle," "Jungle Love" and "Jet Airliner" along with his No. 1 hits, "The Joker," "Rock'n Me" and "Abracadabra" to this tour.

Grammy Award winning Peter Frampton remains one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history. His breakthrough electrifying album, "Frampton Comes Alive!" remains one of the top-selling, multi-platinum live records of all time. Three singles from this album, "Baby, I Love Your Way," "Show Me the Way" and "Do You Feel Like We Do" became No. 1 hits.

Steve Miller and Peter Frampton met in the late 1960s in a London recording studio when they were both just starting their recording careers. Their respect for each other's talents as songwriters and musicians started then and continues to this day. Over the years they have played together in venues from theatres to football stadiums and now they will be here on The Island to play for you.
