2015 Holiday Stroll Community Photo Contest
Every photo has a story and us being the local newspaper, we love our stories. We want to see YOUR experience at the Holiday Stroll whether your shopping with grandparents or taking a selfie with Santa’s reindeer. We want to see it!
So...what are the details you ask?
Here’s what we’re looking for :
We’re looking for honest, authentic moments caught on
camera at the 2015 Holiday Stroll. You can use your smart phone
or that brand new digital camera you’ve been wanting to use.
What is it :
The Republican Eagle is hosting a one-night only FREE Photo Contest
for all ages the night of the Holiday Stroll (Nov.27)
To Enter :
Take a photo at the Holiday Stroll on Nov.27, upload your photo
Our judges will work in two groups of 3 during the
screening round. All files will be checked as either “in” or “out” based on the photos ability to capture the essence of a community event.
From there, 5 judges will do another round of “in”
or “out”and take the number of submissions down to 10.
The final round, all 5 judges will work together on
voting with the top 3 being chosen as the winners.
1st Place Winner: 1 year subscription (or renewal) to the Republican Eagle ($86 value) & a laminted print out of our exclusive photo contest page that will be featured in the Dec 2 edition of the Republican Eagle.
2nd & 3rd Place Winners: A laminated copy of our photo contest page.
The top 10 photos will be printed in the
December 2, 2015 Republican Eagle newspaper exclusively.
Any photograph submitted for consideration must be an original, non-published work that does not infringe any privacy, intellectual property or other rights of any third parties, and that the entrant either owns or has rights to convey any and all right and title in the submitted photo.
A person submitting images grants the Republican Eagle non-exclusive, royalty-free copyright license to publish the photos online or in print and to republish them at any time in the future in any and all Republican Eagle, RiverTown Newspaper Group or Forum Communications Co. media.
