The UWRF Physics Department begins its spring season of free, public observatory viewings and astronomy talks on Tuesday, Feb. 12. Objects to be seen in the telescopes include planets, globular clusters, open clusters, nebulae, galaxies, moons, and double stars.
Longtime civil rights advocate and litigator Michelle Alexander is coming to the UW-River Falls on Wednesday, Feb. 29 to speak about her book, “The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness.”
UW-River Falls will host an economic summit at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, in the Riverview Ballroom of the University Center, featuring a presentation by Charles Kao on “An Economic Perspective of U.S., China and Taiwan.”
