Everyone knows Minnesota faces an approximate $6.2 billion budget deficit. In years past when we faced a shortfall, lawmakers would sit around and wait for the updated forecast in February before actually beginning to address the problem.
In the movie “Groundhog Day,” Bill Murray continues to wake up day after day only to find himself reliving the exact same day. That is, until he changes the things that will help provide for a better life and future.
In these times of political mud-slinging, untruths and contentious debates, we appreciate all the more having a representative in the Minnesota House who has been so willing to hear our concerns and keep the lines of communication open.
