I grew up on a dairy farm in Wabasha. My parents and grandparents were farmers. They always stressed the value of hard work and community service. They believed that people have the responsibility to try to improve the world around them, and they passed that belief onto me. We need a change in leadership to work towards real progress in Minnesota, and I am willing to serve the citizens of 28B to bring the positive change we need.
I am a calm, open-minded person. I will look at issues from a variety of aspects and will listen to the concerns and ideas of people before I make a decision. I have also been in very high stress leadership positions, negotiating contracts under intense pressure yet finding common ground so that appropriate solutions were reached in a timely manner.
