Aaron Johnson’s stellar performance on the mound and Jimmy Bohmbach’s two-run shot in the bottom of the fifth inning helped Red Wing come out victorious in its final league game of the season. The Aces won 3-2 against Lake City Sunday afternoon at home, giving them the two seed in the Classic Cannon Valley League.
Augie Lindmark threw eight innings of shutout ball Friday night at the Red Wing Athletic Field to help the Aces capture yet another Classic Cannon Valley League Game. The Aces came out on top 4-0 against the Hampton Cardinals.
Red Wing Aces pitcher Andy Gibart only gave up four hits to Randolph in seven innings of work Sunday afternoon at home. The strong pitching performance led to a 9-1 victory and gave the Aces their eighth Classic Cannon Valley League win.
The Aces won their seventh Classic Cannon Valley League game of the season Friday night with a 5-3 win over Cannon Falls. The Aces used solid pitching outings from a pair of southpaws in Josh Thygesen and Aaron Johnson in the home victory.
