More than 100 artists plus a full complement of musicians will display their talents at the Stockholm Art Fair, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 18 in Stockholm Village Park on Lake Pepin.
Travelwisconsin.com, Wisconsin’s official travel site, has named the Lake Pepin community of Stockholm one of the Top Five Shopping Destinations in the state.
“The personality of the village is influenced by its Swedish heritage,” said Alan Nugent, co-president of the Stockholm Merchants Association.

STOCKHOLM — Poet John Graber of Stockholm will offer a short form of his “Writing and Repair of Poetry” workshop on four Sundays during February. Sessions will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24 at Calvary Covenant Church on Second Street. Participants will learn how to fix what isn’t working in their writing through discussion of weekly worksheets about their poems.
