Pine Island man dies of injuries suffered in Wednesday crash
A Pine Island, Minn., man has died at Regions Hospital in St. Paul as a result of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident on Wisconsin state Highway 63 near Ellsworth late Wednesday afternoon. Dennis R. Manning, 65, passed away late Wednesday evening, according to Pierce County Chief Deputy Jason Matthys.

A funeral service for Joseph C. Janisch, rural Ellsworth, who died early Monday, Sept. 17th in a construction accident along I-94 near Menomonie, is set for 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth. Janisch, a father of four, was a dairy farmer and avid hunter and fisherman.

One day she was hustling around preparing to compete in a nationwide competition, and the next she was cooped up in a car for 13 hours driving home from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Of course, the lengthy road trip was a little more exciting than most.
