Volleyball: Wingers end regular season with loss
Red Wing's match Thursday at Northfield was the first the team had played since it lost to New Prague on Oct. 13. The eight-day layoff showed as the Wingers struggled with serve-receive and blocking in a 25-11, 25-16, 24-26, 25-15 loss to close out the regular season.

Section tournament rundown
The Red Wing football team received the No. 7 seed in the Section 1AAAA tournament and will travel Tuesday to No. 2 New Prague. The Trojans beat the Wingers 28-0 Oct. 14 in Red Wing. A full list of area football and volleyball section games follow.
