Area girls golf: Panthers eighth at sectional
Not one Ellsworth golfer was able to break the century mark in the WIAA Division 2 sectional meet Wednesday at Amery (Wis.) Golf Club and the Panthers finished eighth out of eight teams.

Two teams share the title at Monday’s Ally’s League competition at Mount Frontenac Golf Course. The trio of Darlene Saby, Jane Wadrickas and Jack Warfel tied the squad of Jerry Petrie, Joe Pietzak, Agnes Cushing and Harold Johnson at 35 apiece.
