Aces fall to Miesville, play top-seeded Dundas on Friday 
Red Wing player and assistant manager Andy Gibart called Miesville starter Chris Olean a “big game pitcher” following Wednesday’s Section 1B playoff game. The praise couldn’t have been more accurate, as the big righty threw eight innings and had a no-hitter going into the fifth inning in the first game of the Section 1B playoffs. Miesville triumphed, winning 5-1.

Aces clinch two seed 
Aaron Johnson’s stellar performance on the mound and Jimmy Bohmbach’s two-run shot in the bottom of the fifth inning helped Red Wing come out victorious in its final league game of the season. The Aces won 3-2 against Lake City Sunday afternoon at home, giving them the two seed in the Classic Cannon Valley League.
