Nathaniel Foot of Red Wing graduated May 20 with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Vermont. He received the Future Professional in Athletic Training Award, one of four awards presented to graduates of the college’s Athletic Training Education Program. Foot is also the recipient of the Eduardo “Chico” Hernandez scholarship awarded by the Vermont Association of Athletic Trainers which he will use for graduate studies at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville beginning in June.
