Letter: Experience proves less than 'fair'
I have a very sad 11-year-old granddaughter. She entered her sheep at the Goodhue County Fair. She was there every day to take care of them. On Thursday she spent all day working at the 4-H booth. On Saturday she got up extra early to be there for the 8 a.m. auction with her blue ribbon sheep. After she got there she was told she couldn’t be in the auction because she hadn’t signed some form. But, no one told her she had to do this, not her leader, or the person that checked her in.
