St. Croix Business Park scenes


Work is progressing on the massive Uline distribution center scheduled to open in the summer of 2013. The 640,000-square-foot facility isn’t technically within St. Croix Business Park, but it is served by streets and utility mains that were put in for the park.

  • The General Motors parts distribution center is a state-of-the-art facility providing well-paying jobs for more than 70 workers.
  • The 404,000-square-foot General Motors parts distribution center opened in St. Croix Business Park in October 2004. It employs more than 70 members of the United Auto Workers union who ship vehicle parts to a five-state area.
  • St. Croix Trading Company, a Hudson-based distributor of area rugs, now occupies the first facility built in St. Croix Business Park, the former Johnson Controls vehicle seat assembly plant at 2101 O’Neil Road. Dave Tank is president of St. Croix Trading, which he operates in partnership with his father, Gerald, brother, Scott, and Andy Yarrington.
  • Heath Ehrnreiter, left, is the operations manager, and Craig Johnson, facilities maintenance supervisor, at the Cardinal Health distribution center in St. Croix Business Park. The facility employs about 100 people, shipping health and beauty products to customers in the region.
  • A sign on Hanley Road at O’Neil Road lists some of the 73 businesses located in St. Croix Business Park. The park is also home to three state agencies and one non-profit organization.
  • J.W. Kaladi’s restaurant, located at 3250 Heiser St., has made a business of catering to the workers in St. Croix Business Park. Bear Buddies childcare center is located next door.
  • The River Bluffs Business Center at 2721 Harvey St. provides space for smaller companies, including Valley Management Group, National Nut Co. and Sittab, a Swedish seat accessories company.
