Dustin Michael Heins, 21, of Red Wing, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30.
He was born on March 26, 1991, in Red Wing and graduated from Red Wing H.S. in 2009. Dustin served 2 years in the Army Reserves. He enjoyed writing songs and most of all being with his daughter.
He is survived by parents Lori Castleberg and Brian Heins; step-dad Robert Herman; brother Kevin Castleberg; stepbrother Sean Herman; daughter Jaelyn; grandparents Roger and Darlene Castleberg, William Bryant and Anne Walrath; godparents Daniel and Karen Heins; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Dallas Heins and Frances (Santelman) Heins.

Dustin Heins was our Grandson and we loved him and miss him. We miss his smile , laugh, and the good times we had with him . We will always remember him in our prayers . Dustins little girl , Jaelyn is our Great Grandaughter, we love her very much and hope to stay in her life and tell her about her Daddy Dustin , so she wont forget him.
