1/28/2013: Wade A. Pince, 42

Wade A. Pince, age 42, of Cannon Falls, died unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 25, at the Cannon Falls Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church, 7459 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. An evening visitation from 5-8 p.m. will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls.

Wade Allen Pince was born Dec. 25, 1970, in Cannon Falls, Minn., to the parents Dennis and Dorothy (Perkins) Pince. He graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1989 and went on to receive his LPN degree from St. Marys Hospital. He started his nursing career at Angel's Care Center in Cannon Falls where he worked for many years before taking a nursing position at the Red Wing Health Center in 2000. For the past several years, he was employed again at Angel's Care Center and The View in Cannon Falls and most recently St. Brigid's in Red Wing.

Wade enjoyed going to sporting events and was known for his 4th of July celebrations. He also enjoyed going camping and spending time outdoors. His number one love was his family. He was a very devoted father who valued his time with his children and being involved in their activities through the years. The next best thing to being a dad was being a grandpa to his precious little Kylee. He was involved in the confirmation and Sunday school programs at Vang Lutheran and St. Ansgar's Lutheran.

He is survived by his children, Justin, Jillian, and Jonah of Cannon Falls; granddaughter, Kylee; mother, Dorothy Pince of Cannon Falls; sisters, Amber West of Waseca, Wynn (Roy) Street of Hampton, Iowa, Aledia (Mark) Karow of Faribault, Ravenna (Troy) Gentry of Cannon Falls; "son," Alex Davis; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis; grandparents, Stanley and Ella Pince and Lewis Perkins.

Casket bearers will be Justin and Jonah Pince, Alex Davis, Ryan and Adam West, Nick and Richard McConnell, Joshua and Jacob Karow, and Cody and Tyler Gentry. Honorary bearers will be Jillian Pince, Jenna Karow, Brittany and Courtney Gentry, Bridget Van Hecke, Kylee Pince, and Derek West.
