Lucille Evelyn Bach, 86, of Red Wing, died peacefully at her home on Dec. 18.
Lucille Evelyn Bach, 86, of Red Wing, died peacefully at her home on Dec. 18.
She was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Red Wing, to Charles and Pauline (Wanz) Tyler. She grew up in Red Wing, graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1944, and married her husband, Loren Bach, on Nov. 15, 1946. She retired from the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1988.
A member of First United Methodist Church and the Redmen Club, she enjoyed playing cards, fishing, bakin,g and camping.
Lucille is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Dennis) Holden, LouAnn (Jerry) Quade, and Lori Ulm, all of Red Wing; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Loren; a son, Lavern Bach; and a grandchild, Loren Holden.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Greg Strunk officiating. Burial will be at Bay City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday and for 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials preferred to Mayo Health Systems Red Wing Hospice.
