They lived in Red Wing for 22 years until Stanley was transferred to Eau Claire, Wis., with NSP. Joyce moved back to Red Wing in 2002 and lived both at the downtown Plaza and Deer Crest.

Joyce will be remembered for her very sweet, happy, and witty persona. She was always a proper lady who loved her family more than anything.

Joyce was cremated, and a private burial will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ellsworth, Wis. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Deer Crest Community Room. Memorials can be sent to Deer Crest in her honor.
