Joseph Clair Janisch, age 34, of Ellsworth, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 17, in Menomonie, Wis.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ellsworth. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the church, and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Lost Creek Cemetery in El Paso, Wis. Memorials are preferred to the family.

I am so sorry for your loss. My husband, Tom, and I had the pleasure of meeting Joe five years ago. He was a great guy and we'll miss him a lot. We haven't had the honor of meeting Gina and the children but he spoke of them with love and joy, often. We're praying for your family. I wish we could do more.
