Joan Wilcox, 83

Joan Louise Wilcox, 83, a longtime Fairbanks resident with 57 years in Alaska, passed away Aug. 18 in Dover, N.H.

Joan Louise (Isensee) Wilcox was born to Adolf John Isensee and Margarene Frieda (Dose) Isensee in Lake City, Minn., on Aug. 18, 1929.

Her committal service will be held at Lakewood Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Love INC of the Tanana Valley, 818 26th Ave., Fairbanks, AK 99701, and to the Fairbanks Rescue Mission, 723 27th Ave., Fairbanks, AK 99701.
