Rev. Peter J. Seaberg, age 74, of Annandale, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Salem Lutheran Church, 90 Riverside Dr. SE, St. Cloud, with Rev. Wayne Anderson officiating. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the church service. Memorials can be made to your place of worship.

Peter Julius Seaberg was born June 21, 1938, in Red Wing, to the late Marvin and Claudia (Fisher) Seaberg. He married Judith E. Ott on June 9, 1962, in Joliet, Ill. He was a 1956 graduate of Red Wing High School, 1961 graduate of Carthage College, Carthage, Ill., and 1965 graduate of Northwestern Lutheran Theological Seminary, Minneapolis. He served as pastor of East and West Sveadahl Lutheran Churches, St. James; Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Pine City; and St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale.

He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud. Pete enjoyed playing cards with his buddies, singing in the choir with his friends, traveling lots of places with his wife, watching his sons (and the Vikings) play ball, and watching his grandchildren grow and develop into unique and beautiful human beings.

He is survived by his wife, Judith of Annandale; sons and their wives, Eric and Mary of Baltimore, Md., Craig and Nancy of Bloomington, Michael and Debra of Dassel, Daniel and Nichole of Annandale; 11 grandchildren, Meghan, Andrew, Laura, Annie, Michelle, Emily, Dylan, Jacob, Charlie, Henry, and Tommy, sister, Sharon and David Guyott of Eagan; brother, Jeffrey and Barbara Seaberg of Red Wing; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Janet and Gary Sanders of Joliet, Joal and Sally Ott of Joliet; and also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The honorary pallbearers will be Pete's grandchildren, and the organist will be Charles Echols. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale. Obituary, guestbook, video tribute and funeral webcast online at www.dingmannfuneral.com.
