Verna Larsen, 94

Verna Louise Larsen, 94, of Red Wing, died Thursday, June 14, at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park.

She was born May 17, 1918, in Red Wing, to Rasmus and Ida (Myhrer) Larsen. In 1937, she graduated from Red Wing Central High School. For over 50 years she worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Dartt and later Dr. Donkers. She was a member of Business and Professional Women's group, Animal Allies and United Lutheran Church.

Verna is survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Alice Mae Hemphill.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Reverend Bob Iverson officiating. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
