Lillian C. Nibbe, 93, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, March 14, at the Fairview Red Wing Medical Center.

Lillian C. Nibbe, 93, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, March 14, at the Fairview Red Wing Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 8, 1919, in Roscoe Township, the daughter of Olaf and Elsie (Peterson) Bjorngaard. She grew up and attended school in Zumbrota. After school, she took a job as a waitress. She married Arville Jagusch in 1939; they later divorced. On Aug. 12, 1961, she married Calvin Nibbe at the Little Brown Church in Iowa. They lived in Red Wing where Lillian worked at Durkee Atwood, Red Wing Shoe Co., and also did domestic work.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and growing flowers in her garden.
She is survived by husband, Calvin of Red Wing; one son, Tom Jagusch of Red Wing; one brother, Merrill (Katie) Bjorngaard of Red Wing; three little friends, Aydyn, Camdyn, and Landyn; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Archie and Orville.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 19, at United Lutheran Church with Reverend Robert W. Iverson officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to service on Monday at church.
