Lorraine Elizabeth Halvorson, age 82, died Monday, Feb. 13, at her residence at Deer Crest in Red Wing.

She was born Aug. 30, 1929, in Red Wing, the daughter of Arthur and H. Irene (Peterson) Currie. She lived her entire life in Red Wing where she was employed as a travel agent.
She is survived by her daughter, LuAnn Halvorson of Red Wing; one granddaughter, Carrie (Ryan) McMahon of Red Wing; one grandson, Jeff (Jaimie) Halvorson of Hager City; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janice; brother, James; and son, Steven.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at First United Methodist Church in Red Wing with Reverend Greg Strunk officiating. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service at church. Memorials are preferred to First United Methodist Church or Fairview Red Wing Hospice.
