Francis Robert "Bob" Brown, 95, Red Wing, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 29, at Fairview Seminary Home.

Francis Robert "Bob" Brown, 95, Red Wing, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 29, at Fairview Seminary Home.

He was born July 10, 1916, in Waddington, N.Y., the son of Francis and Charlotte (Styles) Brown. He was a dairy farmer and worked in construction where he was involved with the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway in New York. He has resided in Red Wing since 2004.

Survivors include his daughter, Debra Morgan of Red Wing; one grandson, Bradley Morgan; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruth Dunn; and one brother, Reginald Brown.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with Father Bruce Peterson officiating. Memorials are preferred to Faith in Action.
