Robert E. Safe, age 67, of Stillwater, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Jan. 11 surrounded by family and friends.

Robert E. Safe, age 67, of Stillwater, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Jan. 11 surrounded by family and friends.
Preceded in death by parents, Glen and Elsie, and wife, Katherine.
Survived by his children, Jennifer (Dave), Mark, and Tim (Melony); grandchildren, Destiny, Tayah, Alexis, Cameron, and Ian; brothers, Whitey (Barb), Willie, and Rich (Sue); cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Robert was a State Farm agent for 30 years, diehard Gopher football fan, coach and mentor, and Rotarian. He enjoyed camping, hunting and golf.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Gathering at Boutwells. A special thank you to the staff of the Gathering and Lakeview Hospice for your loving care and kindness.
A Celebration of Robert's Life will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 115 N. Fourth St., Stillwater, with a gathering of family and friends beginning at noon at church. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
