Jennifer Ann Carmine Swett, age 40, of St. Paul, formerly of Red Wing, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family and friends, on Thursday, Dec. 8, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Jennifer Ann Carmine Swett, age 40, of St. Paul, formerly of Red Wing, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family and friends, on Thursday, Dec. 8, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Jenny was born on Sept. 28, 1971, in Minot, N.D. She grew up in Red Wing and graduated from Central High School in 1990.

She is survived by her husband, Paul of St. Paul; two beautiful daughters, Ruthie Jo and Echo; two loyal dogs, Guido and Rocco; parents, Debby Berg-Carmine of St. Paul and Jack and Sheila Carmine of Red Wing; sister, Katie Carmine of Cologne; brother, Jon Carmine of Red Wing; and stepsisters, Kaila and Brittany Schmidt of Lake City; paternal grandmother, Agnes Carmine of Gurnee, Ill.; and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at St. Pascal's Catholic Church, 1757 Conway St., St. Paul, with Father Tony Andrade officiating, with a visitation 1 hour prior at the church. A gathering for friends and family will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, with a time for memories and remembrances starting at 7:30 p.m. Memorials preferred to the family and will be used towards an education fund being set up for Ruthie and Echo.
