Big Whiffer Golf event planned
A charity fundraising company called Big Whiffer Golf will try to raise money in Lake City on June 20 for Gridiron Heroes Spinal Cord Injury Foundation, a non-profit providing immediate and long-term resources and assistance to individuals sustaining catastrophic spinal cord injuries through activities associated with high school football.
A charity fundraising company called Big Whiffer Golf will try to raise money in Lake City on June 20 for Gridiron Heroes Spinal Cord Injury Foundation, a non-profit providing immediate and long-term resources and assistance to individuals sustaining catastrophic spinal cord injuries through activities associated with high school football.
Big Whiffer Golf is conducting a 50 states in 50 days golf tour and will be at The Jewel Golf Club on June 20. A team from Big Whiffer will play a round of golf in a four-person scramble format with three local players. Tee time is at 10:48am.
The organization is raising funds through national pledges for the entire 50 rounds based on the performance of the teams.
