Turkey Trot

The YMCA will hold its annual Turkey Trot beginning at 8:15 a.m. Thanksgiving Day. Proceeds from this event benefit the Red Wing Area Food Shelf. Participants may choose from a 1K, 3K or 5K Run/Walk. Donation of $5 per person is requested.

Y’s Men’s

Christmas Trees

The Y’s Men’s Club will be selling Christmas trees again this year from the lot between Subway and Movie Magic. Tree sales begin Friday. Proceeds benefit Youth on Red Wing by providing financial assistance for memberships and camping opportunities

Swim lessons &

Gymnastic classes

Registration for winter session swim lessons and gymnastic classes will be held Dec. 18.

Saturday fitness

Saturday fitness schedule is 7:15 a.m. basic yoga, 8:25 a.m. spinning, 9:15 a.m. kickboxing.

Y Pal’s Mentoring

The Y Pal’s mentoring program is looking for adults who have an interest in being matched up with a child from a single-parent family. Contact Jessica Wheeler.

Youth basketball

Registration has begun for second- through sixth-grade youth basketball. It will be held Saturday mornings beginning Dec. 1 and is open to all boys and girls in the community. The cost is $30 per child, free for Y members.

Triathlon Training Group

Thinking about adding a fun new challenge to your life? Come see what the YMCA triathlon training group is all about. This group consists of all athletic levels and ages and meets at 7 a.m. Saturday mornings. Workouts consist of swimming drills and instruction, cycling classes and running support.
