Sexual Assault Services Board is looking for new members
The Goodhue Wabasha Sexual Assault Services Board of Directors is seeking new members.
The Goodhue Wabasha Sexual Assault Services Board of Directors is seeking new members. Individuals skilled in the areas of accounting, publicity, fundraising and technology, including Web site development, are encouraged to apply.
New members would be expected to serve three-year terms, attend bimonthly meetings, participate on committees, and provide occasional assistance at public events. Knowledge of sexual assault issues is not required; education and training will be provided.
Goodhue Wabasha Sexual Assault Services serves Goodhue and Wabasha counties by providing 24-hour support and advocacy for those affected by sexual violence as well as prevention and education efforts throughout the community. The board of directors sets policy, raises fund and guides the organization’s growth and direction.

The application deadline is Dec. 4. Board terms begin in January.
