Ila D. Fick, age 89, of Ellsworth, died Thursday, May 17, at the Ellsworth Care Center.
She was born on Aug. 22, 1922, to John and Fern (Rolph) Owen in Wisconsin.
She was married in June 1940 to Fredrick Carl Fick. He died in December 1993.
Ila was a loving grandmother. She enjoyed baking, especially pies, and she was always trying new recipes. She enjoyed gardening, and loved her flowers. We are going to miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick; son Gerald; parents, sisters and brothers.
Ila is survived by three children, Richard of Ellsworth, Sandy of Beldenville, and Joyce of Eau Claire, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
The memorial service for Ila will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at the Hill Funeral Home in Ellsworth. There will be a visitation from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
