Ellsworth golfers place second in final MBC meet
HAMMOND, Wis. — Ellsworth’s boys golf team placed second in its final regular season Middle Border Conference meet Friday at Hammond Golf Course.
HAMMOND, Wis. — Ellsworth’s boys golf team placed second in its final regular season Middle Border Conference meet Friday at Hammond Golf Course.
The host school, St. Croix Central, won with a nine-hole score of 164, followed by the Panthers with a 179 and Prescott 189.
Caleb Peterson’s score of 43 was Ellsworth’s lowest tally. Adam Henning shot a 44, Andy Chollett shot a 45, Tanner Johnson came in with a 47 and Dave Arndt a 48. SCC’s Brad Fiede was the meet medalist with a 38.
Ellsworth won the junior varsity meet with a score of 190. The Panthers’ Tyler Matthews was the JV medalist with a 45.
