Former NFL star Ed “Too Tall” Jones steps down after helping to pull the tarp off a sundial during a dedication ceremony Sunday at Red Wing High School.
Jones assisted with the unveiling after giving a speech to about 133 people at Hovda Auditorium as part of dedication ceremonies.
The sundial, placed at the Ring of Honor, was a donation made by Linnea Horvat and her family to the school and the community. Her late husband and former Red Wing High School teacher, Kevin Horvat, hatched the idea for a sundial at that location before he died in 2009.
