Taylor Heise of Lake City took first place in the 8-year-old pedal tractor competition on Sunday at Johnny Appleseed Days in Lake City. "I've been competing since I was 4 years old," said Heise, who took second place in 2006 at a national competition. Heise has three shelves of trophies in her bedroom. "It's my life," she said.
