The Williams family -- Evan and his dad, James, in front, Heather, mother and wife, standing -- has just opened a bookstore in downtown River Falls. James has labored for weeks making and assembling the bookshelves. Heather will manage the store. Evan came up with the name, “Fox Den,” which James says has a “simple, whimsical quality” that should also appeal to kids. Both James and Heather have managerial backgrounds through the Barnes & Noble bookstore chain in Roseville, Minn.
