Cpl. Harold Carlson created this 11-by-14-inch portrait of Staff Sgt. David Tefft while the two were part of Battery F of the 216th Coast Artillery – Anti Aircraft stationed in San Francisco in the 1940s. Both men grew up in Red Wing.
