Colvill Aquatic Center Colvill Aquatic Center is open daily through Aug. 23. Public swimming hours are noon to 7 p.m. Pool closings will be available on the weather hotline, (651) 385-4569. Horse camp Hay Creek Stables is offering a week of overnight horse camp for children ages 10 and older. Camp runs Monday through Friday and includes instruction on safe horse practices, horsemanship, horse etiquette, ground manners, Western and English riding lessons, rind skills and riding and halter. Meals and supervised bunk house are included. The last session begins Aug. 17. Cost is $525.
YMCA 
Special needs aqua class The new special needs aqua class is for parents and children. The age span for children is 3 years old through grade 5, not grades 3-5 as published in the YMCA’s fall brochure. Soccer camp Soccer camp for children who have completed grades K-2 runs Aug. 25-28. Membership is not required. Cost is $40 per child, $30 for members.
