Letter: Port, look harder at sand shipment

At the May 1 Port Authority meeting, the public received information about the Little River Bulkhead being used as a silica sand transfer point for barge traffic. Silica sand would be trucked from Wisconsin to the bulkhead at a rate of 75 trucks a day, each truck containing 20 tons of silica sand.
