Colonoscopy detects cancer, saves lives

It was with great interest I read article “March brings awareness to colon cancer” (R-E March 21). On Feb. 24 of this year, I was diagnosed with colon cancer following a routine colonoscopy. I had no symptoms and no family history. My last colonoscopy showed no polyps.
