Girls Basketball: Red Wing knocked out of state playoffs

MINNEAPOLIS – A layup by Macy Kelly put the Red Wing girls basketball team up 42-41 with 10 minutes, 18 seconds left in the second half but a 14-1 run by Richfield put the Wingers away in a 68-53 loss to the top-seeded Spartans Wednesday at Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota.
