Subscriber Exclusive: Tigers ready for Section 1AA battle

CANNON FALLS -- For the past three seasons, Lake City has not been able to reach the Class AA state tournament for one reason -- Red Wing. The Wingers have won the past three Section 1AA tournaments. So when the announcement came in March that Red Wing will be bumped up to Class AAA and Lake City would stay in Class AA, the Tigers rejoiced. This article is featured in the April, 30, 2011, edition.
