Two Red Wing students win honorable mention
Two Red Wing students have won honorable mentions in a book writing/illustrating contest held by Reading Rainbow of Twin Cities Public Television. Elizabeth Bergquist, a kindergartner at Concordia School, and Weston Wyatt, a first-grader at Sunnyside School, were among 14 winners out of nearly 1,000 entries. Bergquist won her prize for her “The Very First Rainbow.” Wyatt won for his story, “The Chameleon Who Couldn’t Change Colors.”
