Terry has been an actor/performer since he was 8, when in second grade he played recorder in a duet with his brother on uke. He went on to perform in stage productions in high school, college and community theaters. He has written many poems but readily admits, "There are far better poets than me, who have the 'gift of tongues'. But, few have the gift of interpreting the tongues of poets." Terry's unique oral interpretation brings poetry alive to help the listener understand the poet's words.
