The commute home to River Falls at the intersection of southbound Hwy. 35 and Radio Road was slowed late Tuesday afternoon, May 14, by a car vs. motorcycle collision. The injured motorcyclist, Michael D. Fisher, Jr., 33, Hammond, was heading south toward River Falls when a 1996 Honda Accord driven by Katie L. Man who ditched car says women drove him crazy
A 22-year-old local man on foot, without shoes or shirt, was arrested for disorderly conduct last week Wednesday night, May 8, on Main Street after he flipped over two newspaper dispensers. Suspects learn: Hiding is futile
A handful of underage college students tried hiding from River Falls police sweeping an apartment at 215 W. Cascade Ave. after midnight Saturday, April 27. Officers had responded to a large party noise complaint. Those students who showed themselves were warned and released. A 24-year-old Coon Rapids, Minn., man was stopped after he tried walking out of Dick's Fresh Market, 1121 S. Main St., last Thursday afternoon, April 18, without paying for a bottle of aftershave. The container of Afta allegedly was in his hand. A clerk called River Falls police.
